We’re a grassroots community care project, founded by two doulas who noticed a pattern: too many parents were navigating pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood without the information, guidance, or community they needed to make decisions that felt right for them. When we saw how this lack of support was linked to trauma and poorer short- and long-term wellbeing, we knew something had to change.
How are we changing it?
By removing financial cost as a barrier—and valuing experience and participation as the true contributions to membership—a supportive, thoughtful, and invested community has blossomed. It’s already making a real difference to members: enhancing confidence, wellbeing, and outcomes for parents, babies, and families—while keeping individuality intact.
What do we Do?
In-person gatherings – each designed around meeting the unique needs of the different stages of the perinatal period. Connect, reflect, and exchange insights with peers who “get it.”
Moderated WhatsApp group – join from pregnancy (or when you’re planning it), and stay supported through the first year postpartum.
Peer-led sharing– other expectant and new parents in the thick of it share wisdom and experience, differences are respected.
Doula listening, signposting, advocacy and campaigning - experienced doulas on hand to listen, point you in the direction of who to speak to or represent your point of view if your need extends beyond what your peers can offer.
